The first wireless headphones from Google offer quick access to Google Assistant, translations “in real time” and “easy connection”, according to the company. But they are pricey, for some people they are a little uncomfortable to wear and do not insulate outside noise. Despite that, they look good and we can say that the quality is good too. But they are definitely cheaper than Apple’s AirPods.
The Pixel Buds are the first wireless headsets Google offering quick access to Google Assistant, translations “in real time” and “easy connection” (according to Google), good sound quality and not so conventional design. The headphones offer a nearly good sound quality in places without much noise and its case allows you to forget to load directly into a socket, although it is not as practical as the case of Apple AirPods.
Although it is true that the quick access it offers from Google Assistant is impressive, the translation “in real time” leaves much to be desired and the “easy connection” does not always work so well. They are compatible with Android and iOS phones (although Google Assistant features are only available for Android ).
In addition, its design is not the most comfortable and after half an hour or an hour, a break is needed, although the idea of the loop to adjust them to practically any type of ear is quite good.
The high price of Pixel Buds ( $ 129 ) makes them difficult to recommend unless you are very involved in the Google ecosystem and want to have Google Assistant available in your ear.
The other problem is that they are not the most comfortable option. Also, its open design allows a lot of external noise to enter, while Bluetooth pairing could be even better.
